There were too many of the author's opinions for my liking

A succinct and usually engaging primer or reintroduction to major philisophical issues. Highly recommended to those delving into philosophy for the first time or those who haven't been enthralled in philisophical thought for some time.

This was a good refresher of some basic philosophical concepts, but it was somewhat undermined by an introduction that argued that we can't understand what it all means by trying to think through it. Pretty sure that's what philosophy is all about. Anyway, it's short, easy, and good for someone who wants to get into philosophy a little bit in an easy way.

Big language, not simple. But the part on death and life I liked, everything else was boring

Good for anyone who wants to get into philosophy, but has no idea what they're getting themselves into.
