I can say with certainty that I preferred the first book to this one. This is partly because I feel like this one was a bit less engaging but it also was just a totally rip-your-heart-out-at-every-turn book. Luki and Sonny - they're exhausting to say the least. But it's easy to get caught up in their world and I definitely look forward to the rest of this series.

Lord, this book made me cry. Sonny and Luki have been through a lot since the end of Loving Luki Vasquez, and aren't even living together when Delsyn's Blues starts. But Luki's just about had enough of Sonny's silence. And then the deaths start up.
The feelings between Luki and Sonny never left--They were just put on hold for a bit. As the boys scramble around trying to untangle the lies and threats, they also have to unbottle their hurts and move into an even deeper relationship. Seriously, so many beautiful moments between these men here.

I struggled with reading this one. I don't know if it's just my mood or if it was the book. It was rambly and hard to follow at times. But my emotions were invested. I cried a few places, you'll know them if you read this. The mystery was ehhh, it was pretty clear early one who at least one of the main bad guys were. I'll continue the series eventually, but probably not until a challenge forces me.
