Going back and re-Reading these, I realise how well put together this series was and how it balanced fun reading with important life messages for kids. And the art is A+ too.

I was a little too old for them when they came out, so this was the first Babysitters' Club book I'd ever read. It wasn't as bad as I'd feared, in part because Telgemeier's artwork is always so appealing. I have to admit I got more caught up in the story than I'd expected. When I was a driving-age babysitter, I once misplaced a 3 year old because I was watching MTV. I had about ten minutes of sheer panic, but it turned out he had put himself to bed for a nap, and I hadn't seen him the first three times I checked his room because of the giant pile of stuffed animals he was nested in. So the rivalry between the younger, more sincere babysitters and the older, unmotivated babysitters did ring a bell...

This is a conversion of the second book of the classic series, The Babysisters Club, which has been converted into graphic novel form. I loved this series growing up, and I definitely feel like this book does it justice. I don’t know why, but Stacey was always my favourite character.

It's a cute book :)) I actually liked it a lot !! And also the fact that I read this book in like Max 2 hours aka in kinda one sitting is just awesome for me <33. I liked the story as a whole too and I didn't realise that this was a sequel until I finished reading the book.

I did like it, but reading this comic reminded me that the Baby-Sitters Club series was intended for elementary and middle school children, not for thirty-somethings.

Stacey has diabetes. No one seems to understand her condition, not even her parents. Stacey is scared to tell her Babysitters Club friends, afraid they won't understand either. This novel really tests true friendship. I loved this novel of the series.
