BSC re-read as a 32 year old #3...
This book touches on something a little more serious, one of the girls being different from her friends because she has diabetes. This was actually how I found out what diabetes was as a kid, and AMM does well in her explanation of the condition and what it means, without being too on the nose and making it Stacey's only personality trait.

Graphic novel. Middle grade. Classic.
Story: This is book two in the graphic novel series. One of the Baby sitters club clients is about to have a baby and the club is preparing for the time when they are given a flier for a competing baby sitting agency made up of older girls who can stay out late.
Language: This book is told from the perspective of Stacey. At the beginning we learn about Stacey's diabetes diagnosis, fall out with her best friend, move from New York and overprotective parents
Characters: This book features the same 4 main characters from the first book.
I'm not sure why the series order was changed for the graphic novels, but I enjoyed it just the same! Some parts possibly even better than the original in graphic form.

The second adoption of the original Baby Sitters novels.
This one is about Stacey and her diabetes as well as a rival baby sitter group that is trying to take their business.
Great graphic novel drawn by Raina Telgemeier.
Fun, quick middle-school graphic novel.

I love these graphic novels. The plot from the original books are the same. It's a great adaptation of the books. If you love the BSC books you'll definitely enjoy these. Also the art is lovely. It's exactly how I pictured it in my head!
