There were a lot of valuable points in this book, but I didn't like his humor or tone for most of it. Based on a variety of offhand comments, I don't think we agree on much in our worldviews.

I've never felt more uncomfortable listening to a book at work. :)

Would be a three star but reading Anna, Luke and Theo's (invisible) annotations was such a treat and really helps me get closer to my friends.

Kings, IT TAKES 15-45 MINUTES, don't lose faith.
Agree I wouldn't be friends with Kerner but it was exhilarating reading someone who is passionate about a topic many guys can't talk about comfortably.

Do you need to read this book? Ya, probably. I would argue it would have a net positive impact on anyones sex life. Also, I love the constant reference to Strunk and White, it was funny and worked well for me.

Distractingly heteronormative, but understandably so since it was written in 2004. This would definitely be a beneficial read for anyone who is sexually intimate with people with vaginas. Although I would hope the knowledge gained from it would be more familiarity and confidence with the anatomy involved, and some new ideas about what a partner might enjoy - rather than the formulaic, step by step cunnilingus instruction the book tends to press.

I only didn't finish this as I am not the target audience and had reached a point where I had satisfied my curiosity about the book.
