The main characters have relatable struggles and how grief is dealt with is interesting to see.
It is a very emotional book but it has a really sweet ending despite all the twists and turns.
The book itself has 44 chapters but they’re quite short and easy to breeze through. I recommend listening to the audiobook; it helps visualize the story more.
This is Young Adult so some adult language and references are mentioned but it’s not that bad.
Definitely recommend if you love “Five Feet Apart” and other YA teen romances.

That was a whole rollercoaster. I didn’t expect half the things that happened to happen. It was honestly so refreshing and nothing I’ve read in a while comes close to how surprised i was whilst reading it.

this book is a lot to take in.

i cried too much, to the point that in certain parts, i couldn’t breathe.

i usually loathe books with male characters as main characters because i couldn’t relate to them, but kyle is definitely not that type of protagonist. he’s very thoughtful, open, understanding, selfless, and overall, a wonderful person. in all honesty, i disliked marley at the start, but she grew to me as i read the book.

what threw me off is that sometimes, their dialogues became too cheesy. i also don’t see their dialogue as something people their age would use. it’s your typical ya romance, but with a depressing twist.

overall, i enjoyed the book and would highly recommend it for anyone who loves five feet apart or the fault in our stars.
