This volume is full of ableism, transphobia and homophobia that only Brian K Vaughan could provide. At this point, I'm still mainly reading for Fiona Staples' art. It's fabulous even though Vaughan's writing is gleefully hurtful.

Gays ratting each other out is not a vibe. People being real transphobic is even less of a vibe. Ghüs is a total vibe, as per usual. Petrichor deserves the world.

Re-read in preparation for Saga Vol. 10
Ahhh Hazel's incarceration period, how I love it. Honestly one of my favourite volumes so far, I really loved getting to meet Petrichor and seeing IV grow closer to the family, but the ending really made me tear up when they had to leave Klara behind. Seeing Marco and Alana work together again was also such a relief.

Can I make it one volume without crying? JUST ONE....the answer is no.

Still loving Saga! The characters, the world, the messages, and I just want them to be happy! It's hard to review a graphic novel and Saga is very popular anyway, and I continue to see why! <3
