I have mixed feelings about this book- I enjoyed reading about Iranian history from her viewpoint and to have a deeper understanding of the situation there, but the ending was abrupt and I feel now like I need to read the second, even though I was not a huge fan of this one, just to satisfy my curiosity about what happened to the author and her family.
