I am in LOVE with this collection. It was a page turner and I think a need for everyone to read. Shelby writes about anxiety in a way that makes you feel like you're not alone. She doesn't feel bad about having it or make you feel alone (like the world often does) but writes about her own experiences that are so relatable it makes you remember having anxiety is okay. There were several poems that made me realize I wasn't alone and thought 'wow she thinks that too??'. Her other poems were beautifully written and a much awaited sophomore collection after a 2 year hiatus. This book is worth the wait, and I can't wait to get my hands on a physical copy.

I definitely like this book better than her first one- I felt the first book was very simple but I like how this one is set up

This book is full of tender sincerities that touch on issues such as anxiety, insecurity, and loss.

Leigh's words move through the process of healing in a way that ultimately left me feeling uplifted and seen.

I love how beautifully Shelby writes. It comes from a place of truth. As much as I loved her first poetry collection, however, her second one here wasn’t as impactful as I thought it would be. This is just down to my poetry reading preference. Some of the poems hit me hard though, like really hit home.
