Absolutely loved Beckett’s and James’s relationship. Loved how he’d go to war behind her. I’m glad she was able to figure things out for herself.
medium-paced
Read this series out of order but I think this one kind of stands out as less connected even though it was the first book. The whole mom being a mess aspect was interesting. I think it was a sold middle of the pack sports romance.
Good read, didn’t really follow the common fake dating trope. The issues with each character were truly genuine and did become a valid issues not just for drama. The epilogue became almost a novel in and of itself it was so long and detailed and barely gave us a glimpse into the characters future. Probably since the series follows siblings we get that throughout the series. But I definitely enjoyed this, especially after reading so many sports romance and finding a lot of them a bit repetitive. Very spicy read, it would’ve been a five star read if it had a better ending and the epilogues weren’t such a tediously long read.

Writing style just wasn’t for me - too much tell not enough show

Such a good read, I wish there was more that’s how much I loved it. Definitely reading the rest of the series.
