Probably my favorite in the series, I read them all out of order. I enjoyed their love story, the plot, the dedication they had to each other and their relationship. I liked the gentleman characteristics that James showed Bex. Great story!

This was a cute book!

I didn't love the voice narrator for Becks. It just sounded so distorted. There was one point where they had a text Convo and the guy read as James and she read as Becks and the difference in audio quality from line to line was actually unbearable to listen to.

I thought the story itself was cute. I liked the characters and their romance. I love that James was a stand up guy who respects women, and it's clear he respects all women, not just those he cares about.

I did look up where Grace Reilly is from and I'm astounded to learn she actually is from Long Island originally. I feel like she was trying to gaslight me into thinking Port Washington is some ritzy wealthy as fuck place. It was honestly jarring and even texted my friend who still lives out on LI to ask if I'm remembering incorrectly and it's a super rich place. Not to say it's not a super nice town! But come on.

I'm excited to read the rest of the series because I did really like all of James' siblings, so I'm excited to see them all get their own book! I am bummed that Cooper's isn't an enemies to lovers with his hockey rival. I was really into that idea, but it seems like that guy will be the sister's beau. Womp womp.

One thing I didn't really like was the ending with the game.
I HATE that he threw the pass and therefore the game. I did not find it to be some sweet romantic gesture at all. That isn't putting her above football. It's making her have to live with the fact that she's the reason you lost. It's fucking over your entire team and coach. I hated that so much.

“Un futuro que podemos compartir. Veo amor y deseo y todo lo que creía que no podía tener, entre tonos azules.
—Sí —murmuro contra su boca. Sonrío y siento que él también sonríe—. Vayas donde vayas, te seguiré.”

ME ENCANTÓ.
