I’d categorise it as romance/ mystery/ thriller
More romances should be mixing genres like this I was hooked and besides that the writing was beautiful, I really felt like I was breathing in crisp Montana air and gazing mysteriously at the mountains and fields in the far off distance.

I found neither of the MC’s had lovable, even interesting personalities and didn’t really care for them when there was conflict.
I liked the resolution/reveal of the suicide mysteries, wasn’t expecting who it was.
Might give book 2 a go and then decide whether I will finish the series.

Sexual Content : I look for none to little spice in my books. Most spice was alluded to (fade to black), but I did end up skipping a scene at the tail end of a chapter. At the beginning, there was some innuendo and sex talk that made me uncomfortable but overall not too bad!
