This was pretty good. I enjoyed it, but I didn’t really feel the romance side of the story even though I wanted them to get together. I never found myself smiling or giggling at cute moments between them.
I also guessed pretty early on what was happening in the “mystery” but I still liked reading through it.

I was a little hesitant with reading this book considering it include a murder in its plot however I read the second book Juniper hill and loved it and had to read the series so far. This book didn’t disappoint me. I loved their relationship and how smoothly it transitioned from being sex buddies to more. It was simple. I especially loved the scene where Winslow and Griffen put her ex and that annoying reporter in their place and Griffen lay claim to her in a possessive but attractive way. I found myself surprising engaged in the murder mystery and trying to guess who it was. The ending shocked me. I loved it. So conflictingly cruel but good. I like how despite the book containing a murder in the plot it didn’t carry a heavy mood throughout and damper their sweet relationship blossoming. I would have loved a “you were right all along” confession from Griffen yk because my girl Winslow had gut instinct and everyone doubted her.

“What are we doing, Griffin?”
“Thought it was sort of obvious.” Falling in love with her had been effortless.
“Yeah,” she whispered. “I guess it is.”

I devoured this book within a day!!! If you like to read romance with a little mystery on the side (or if you just want to read a good romance book) this one is for you. Most of the smut was fade to black but that wasn't a problem for me.

I love how they both tried to ignore their attraction for each other when they found out about their identities, but were absolutely failing in doing so. Griffin, that man has been whipped for Winn since day one and Winn was such a badass, I love her. Plus, their chemistry was just *chef's kiss*

A quick read and an enjoyable romance.
I am not super into pregnancies in romances, particularly so early into the relationship, but it was only in the epilogue so it wasn’t so bad

i actually don’t know what to do with myself now that i’ve finished it. but i know i’m going to recommend this to everyone i know across the entire globe because this is actual perfection on paper. indigo ridge follows winslow convington (the new chief of police in quincy, montana) and griffin eden (rancher and son of the eden family). however, there is a mystery/murder plot as well. i was originally nervous to read this book for that reason, but it turned out to be the reason why this book is in my top 5. i adore this book in every way possible. i’ve truly never read a book like it and i am planning my devney perry binge as i write this. just read it. trust me.

if you like:
⛰ small town romance
⛰ chief x rancher
⛰ mystery/murder plot
⛰ undeniable attraction
⛰ strong female mc (& chief of police)
⛰ plot twists !!
⛰ mature characters
⛰ part 1 of a series

Wow this book was so good! This book offers up a fun combination of crime/mystery and small town romance. I enjoyed Winnie and Griffin’s romance. The mystery aspect was well done I usually figure out who did it pretty early on in a book but this was kept me guessing until a little before the reveal. I would definitely recommend this book.

4.25 stars. I liked this a lot. Winslow and Griffen's relationship was almost refreshing in a way. Even though it started with a one night stand, it felt like it took some time to develop. The maturity between the character is something you don't read a lot in books so I liked that a lot.  I loved the mystery even though I figured out who it was before it actually happened lol. I kinda enjoyed that part a little more than the romance. I can see this becoming a movie tbh. All in all I enjoyed reading this a lot!

After seeing this book everywhere, I finally caved and gave it a read and.......🤯. Just off of the first book alone, I'm already hooked on this author/series.

This book was the perfect blend of mystery and romance, and it gave me all of the small-town feels I've been obsessed with lately. Dare I say, I enjoyed the mystery aspect a wee bit more than the romance.
