Really loved this book!! I cried way more than I was expecting, but I really enjoyed it. I thought it was very reflective, and joyous, and full of heart. The structure was really fun, I really loved getting multiple perspectives and the layout of the book. Very good read.

This should be titled "You will cry at the end", because you absoltuely will. It should also come with some tissues because fuck you Adam Silvera, I don't care if you told me in the title what was going to happen you still broke my heart by making this story and these characters come to life and then taking them away from me, you bastard.

Its so goddamn beautiful and intricate, the stories told in such a unique but dreary world are not only captivating but heartfelt and the way they cross over into each others lives like a web that mirrors real life is nothing short of perfection. Seriously I cant remember the last time a novel made me go "HOLY FUCK THE CROSSOVER" or "I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING HOLY SHIT", and even just a good ole "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Like I said, It's been a while since a story hit me as hard as this one did, I have oh so many strong feelings about it, and think that the ending was perfect too.

Even though its intentionally left open and vague, I think I know whats intended to happen,  but really it doesn't matter what happens after the last page. What matters is what they did to cherish the life they had while they had it, and I took a lot from that. DOTA

Beautifully written and full of nuggets of wisdom. A lovely story of living life, loving each other, and doing the best that you can with the time that you have. Loved the development of the characters, queer and POC representation, and just overall a great read!

I LOVED this book. The beginning, there is just a lot of foreshadowing, you don't know until you finish it, but just the small details that pull everything together?? Beautiful.
Example: When Mateo leaves a note for his neighbor to not worry about the stove's burner. Then in the end it just sadly wraps together that he should've worried about the burner... heartbreaking.
Just the development of the characters? Amazing.
Some parts I was a little lost on how this random character played a part in the story, but it circled back. The little map(?) at the end helping describe how each character played back to the main 2, really really helped make me understand more.
I feel like overall, it just showed how small things in life effect not only one person.
Example:
Mateo had given Kendrick the shoes off his own feet, causing later in the story, Kendrick recognizes Mateo and that stops him from hitting Mateo. I would have loved to read exactly how Delilah and Rufus had passed, but I feel like stopping it abruptly, with the " I cross the street without an arm to hold me back." Just shows how Rufus had passed but it doesn't show how Delilah had, which maybe Victor was the one driving to Delilah but it wouldn't explain how she had passed. But they weren't MAIN character to further the plot, so I'm not that upset about not knowing.

Overall, this book was one of the best books that has affected me recently, it shows a different perspective of life and what it means to be alive and I just love this book.
This book was a mix of gorgeous writing. I love this book and 100% recommend. I probably cried over this book 20 times.

Um... Excuse me but this was emotional! A really simply sci-fi device made for a really interesting playground in which Silvera sets a realistic story with lovable characters.
