Objectively this was a 3/5 but I adore Jacks and so it gets a 4/5 from me. If you liked both Caraval and Jacks it's worth the read, if you didn't then pass bc it picks up right after Finale and follows a young girl who gets wrapped up in Jacks scheming.
As much as i loved jack i hated almost all the other characters, even tella. This was a confusing read, due to me absolutely LOVING caraval.

This is DEFINITELY a YA book. 3/5 stars.
Enjoyable but predictable, and Evangeline is the most trusting gal in the whole wide world.
I'm here for Garber's dreamy and whimsical writing style, and for how easily I flew through it. Enjoyed it and didn't have to think too hard-- the characters thought too hard for me.
