Honestly, this could've been much weirder, but I guess with it only 30 pages, things needed to go FAST.

Pure, absolutely deranged smut at its finest. At one point I was laughing so hard my eyes were watering and my husband was very concerned I'd lost my mind. Much spicier than my other reads of Vera's but definitely not a bad thing!

Unhinged and hilarious and filled with steam, I am not mad about reading this one on KU.

Am I going to recommend it to my friends? Sure, if they enjoy a wild-tryptophan-laced ride of Thanksgiving magic erotica.

Am I going to help clean up after Thanksgiving? Nope - but this makes a good argument for reasons why I should consider it.

She was taken by the leftovers… why? Food is the best part of thanksgiving now I will never trust a plate of leftovers. What could they have been up to? In who where they before ending up in their containers? Like the poor family members who will eat those leftover the next day.

This. Is. ✨Literature™️✨

Okay, I went into this with low expectations, thinking that it was going to be some regular, degular smut. But, this was DELICIOUS. The second person POV was weird at first, but it really worked for the whole story. The premise was actually pretty sound with some actual plot, which is crazy for like 30 pages. The spice was not bad, but the HUMOR? Oh, girl, this book made me laugh. Gary/Gregg with three Gs was adorable and deserved better because green bean casserole is delicious. Lol, but the puns and nods to what they all were personifications of was just ✨chef’s kiss.✨ This book was brilliant honestly. It had no right to be this fun of a ride. Y’all need to read it. It’s delightful and something I’m very grateful for this year.

Was this the greatest thing I've ever read? No. Was it the most creative? Possibly. If you want a good laugh with a very serious dose of smut, try it. The author is very witty and I appreciated the touches of humor throughout.

Meh. Nothing like a few misspelled words to bring you out of a book.
