i think this series definitely would have benefitted from being much longer. i don't usually like stories that see rin and len as related/siblings, but i found the idea of rin being the "second place" sibling out of all of their designer baby siblings, and being essentially the queen of a "failure" drug-addicted planet so fascinating - and there is no way the conflict between rin and len would be solved so easily. i don't usually care for OCs and i didn't really care for the MC or the robot, since we kept being told they are so tight-knit but it's like lol they've spent maybe a week together. this is the BEGINNING of a story, not a full one. i also don't fully understand the ending.... overall, i just wish there were more vocaloids!!!

I liked this one better than the first one. It had only a few stories making each feel richer. I especially liked the first where Asumi gets mistaken as a maid. Lol she has grown up and matured for this story. I wanted to learn more about the one who hunted her. It didn't make sense. Who is the human and who is the robot/android? Either? Both? It wasn't well explained and lots is left to speculation. Asimov's role in this is much smaller and that disappointed me. I did so like that little robot.
Overall mediocre. I will pass this series on to my local used bookstore and hope someone else finds more enjoyment from it.

Cute and a fun read exploring the vocaloid characters and some new ones in new worlds. The concept was very interesting and I might go back to read it again now that I know how it ends.
