Story One **- This story I feel didn't give enough background, it kept referencing "last year" and battles and people that never appeared in the story. I DO want to read the previous book or story that has all the people and battles in it... but I am not in a hurry.
Story two ****- When this story was over I wanted to yell "NOOOOOO". I will have to find a copy of this book somewhere I love how, even though you don't know what the heck is going on at first, the story slowly builds, adds more details and fills out as it goes along. Like I am sure Beatrice's world is filling out and expanding. I like the concept of the book, the ideology of a Utopian society, or striving towards one. And I like that the story leaves you on the precipice of what I sense is going to be a chaotic upheaval to both Beatrice's life and everyone's with the brewing tensions between the factions.
story three ****- Story was slow going at first, but the mystery of the guys and the nighttime sword fight kept me reading. Wish I could keep reading it was just getting good.
story four ****- liked the concept, liked that you could understand what was going on easily. will want to read this book in its entirety.
story five ****- I love this story, wish I had the entire book.
