If you like crime novels with a good twist, I definitely recommend this book. It kept me guessing, and just when I thought I had it figured out, something new was revealed.
Graphic: Death, Fatphobia, Violence, Medical content, Murder, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Body shaming, Sexual content, and Suicide
Minor: Cursing, Blood, and Alcohol

I hate this book so much. The epistolary fragments, the brief scattered chapters, the maudlin moods...I enjoyed the main character's turquoise hair. Everything else I loathed. I wish the villain had not also been pathetic--I wish the villain had fully committed to being as evil as possible. I wish the environments had gone full gothic...I wish the author could decide if fat women are sexy, disposable, valuable--the authorial subtext seems to throb with desire and rage at fat bodies. Barf.
