Honestly, I’m not sure if I’m happy to have read this series. It’s very well written, the characters are very compelling in a way, but not likable, and they‘re not supposed to be. But overall it’s tragic, horrific and sad. The MC is very frustrating a lot of the time, and just a horrible person, let’s face it.  Also, sometimes (especially in book two) I didn’t get her, but I think that was overall why she felt so real???
Definitely check trigger warnings! This series is about war and the things that come with it.

What a way to finish trilogy. The writing is excellent and you really feel the desperation and hope of all the characters.
