As a book report it's very informative as a captivating story behind the myth and legend that is Jim Morrison and the doors, not so much! Also the interviews at the end of this book, feel stuck on like a severed limb.

As much as the interview part was captivating and good, Jim’s biography read probably as well as a Wikipedia article; dry, no deeper insight, no emotion. I am aware that it was just an addition to a broader biography by the author but then it seemed completely unnecessary to include it in this book.
