Frankly a little disturbing in what it reveals. I've fully come around on this storyline and am now kind of excited to see where it goes and how it eventually–inevitably–falls apart. It's going to be really fascinating to watch Steve eventually deal the fallout of what Red Skull has done.

I've been looking forward to this second issue for the last month and I read it in the parking lot after I bought it. This does a good job of catching the reader up with what actually is going on. A part of me wanted it to be stretched out longer, though. I do think that reading Avengers: Standoff, the Pleasant Hill stuff, would have made this a better reading experience for me. Also reading a few issues of Sam Wilson Captain America would have helped as well. I may try to find those issues so that I can get a better background of this series as a whole. I will be continuing this run.
