This was such an interesting book, but there were so many things that bothered me about it that I can't see myself giving it more than a 3 star. There were phrases that didn't make sense or just made me go ??? ("a keyhole shaped hole"??) and parts of the book that were very repetitive. I felt that the killer's motivations were a bit flimsy. I understand being hurt over the suicide of the woman you love but how does raping and murdering a 10 year old girl fix that?? Also, why didn't you just break off your engagement and date this woman if you love each other this much? Also I understand that the characters are meant to be flawed, but their ridiculous logic bothered me to no end.
