A bit predictable but still very sweet

The heartwarming ending is what bumped this book up for me. While the writing was great, I struggled to finish it at times. I think the fact that the different story lines take a while to piece together makes it hard to say this is a page turner.

I believe this is a debut novel and I never would have guessed.

Marcellus’s story line and inner monologue was so cute and probably my favorite part.
