Definitely a great narrative take on a twenty-something discovering financial freedom through speaking with a local business owner. The narrative aspect carried me through the whole book. I didn't learn a ton about personal finance that I already didn't know, so there's that. Overall, a great read for anybody researching what it means to be financially free, but wants an easier way to learn.

This would have been more insightful or enlightening to me in my twenties, and perhaps that's the audience it was written for.

Overall enthusiastic and positive. Suitable for when you're having a bad day and questioning your financial choices. Now! if it's accurate or not I can't tell since I don't live in the US or am able to use interest since it's forbidden in Islam. Maybe with some slight changes, one can dream of actually reaching certain financial freedom.

Mixed feelings about this one. Any financial
book that begins with the assumption that I buy coffee out every morning, buy my lunch every day, spend $7 on a juice ever or pay for cable is going to mostly annoy me for awhile. There were some good points, but nothing all that new to me. I'm certainly glad I borrowed the audiobook from the library and didn't pay for this. It did inspire me to take another look at the budget tomorrow so I guess that's good? *shrugs*
