I read this series out of order which I almost never do… but I liked the description of this one.
It’s an age gap romance between the captain of the ship and a young human woman who turned down being matched with someone. She fears men and sex because she was raised in an extremely religious house, and thinks the captain is a fake hologram that’s been programmed into a holographic world she enters. Only to find… surprise! He’s real and he’s been visiting her without providing details of who he actually is.
The cherry pop scene was so ridiculous I almost screamed but it’s fine, it’s fine.
