Alright. . . I finally caved. I finally read the book my mom wanted me to read ages ago, to be more accurate over a decade ago.



I should have taken her advice and read this over a decade ago when she mentioned it. However, at the time I was quite stubborn in my "I don't want to read," and my "I only want to read books I find interesting" phase.

Little Women is a beautiful book, filled with humor, heartfelt moments, and realistic expectations. Each of the girls has a unique personality, and showcased their hopes and desires in differing ways. The inescapable idea of sisterhood and family is truly heartwarming despite the tragedies and difficulties they all face at such a young age.

I am truly glad I read this novel, and look forward to eventually reading the others.
