More good stuff to understand how our brains work. Also - It is Not another horrible "where's my cheese" book. As another reviewer said "Most of the time, when I read a book on leadership or personal growth that has a business focus or context, the thing is so loaded with buzzwords and condescending parable nonsense that it's next to unreadable. This is not one of those books."
I found "Switch" to be a very good book with a lot of very helpful insights into making positive changes, whether it be a personal issue, or if you are trying to make changes in a workplace or community. Most of us instinctively resist change, but we experience it every day, and it is necessary to learn and grow. Through examples and real-life stories, the authors offer lots of helpful insight. It is a fairly readable book, but I found it to be so full of good information that it took a while to read. I would read a few pages, then digest the information for a few days before returning to the book. Still, I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to make change easier in the own lives or the lives of people around them.
I feel like the idea of the rider and the elephant was a bit oversimplified, but maybe that's what readers need sometimes. Ones who lack a degree in psychology, anyway. I enjoyed this book, and feel that it had a good amount of case studies.

Loved. Very practical, helpful, encouraging. Would like to read it again. At the time I started I wanted to read fiction, but I was led to this instead and it was just what I needed. It helped motivate me to push toward the changes I’d like to see, even if it’s just a baby step, rather than be stuck for even longer because I don’t have the time and energy needed and/or I’m waiting for something else to fall into place or someone to help me.
I loved this book. Beautifully crafted and thoughtfully simple. The examples are excellent and the research is put to good use (accurately reported but still accessible to a non-academic).

This was interesting, but not my favorite. Recommended professional development reading, and it had some interesting case studies but the thesis could have been a 25 page essay.
