I picked this one up because it's currently all the rage in a m/m book recommendation group I'm in on FB. Everyone said it was low/no angst and fluffy. I wouldn't disagree with their assessment of low angst. I really enjoyed this book and loved Law and Andy. Andy is quirky and extra, Law is kind and charming. I honestly feel like I might be selling this book short with a 4 star rating instead of 4.5. Maybe I've read too much contemporary m/m lately... I might be a little burnt out.

I loved Andy and Law .. so good to read something that shows us that love makes us stronger and gives us the confidence to try new things . And what can I say more then .. magnets !!!

Andy and Law are so damn cute and adorable! I really enjoyed Project Hero and it very well written. I'm a sucker for all these tropes!

✔Friends with benefits
✔Friends to lovers
✔Nerd/Jock
✔Funny Banter

Law and Andy are perfect together and I really loved watching them unknowingly fall for each other. It's written in dual POV and has no significant angst. If you're looking for a hilarious and cute love story, I'd definitely recommend this one!

Also the epilogue is one of my favourites!!

3.5 stars. So, here’s the thing: I liked this a lot. It was adorable, the nerd and jock trope is one of my favorites, and for a debut novel it was insanely well written. But I have a pesky habit of not enjoying things as much if I’ve seen them hyped a lot. This book deserves all the hype, don’t get me wrong, my brain just goes all wonky and hypercritical if something is talked about a lot. Do I recommend this one? Absolutely.

It's Like a comfort read if you need one!

SPOLERS

I wish Andy had realized his feelings for Law sooner, rather than after seeing and talking with Falcon. It disappointed me.

Very solid romance

Review previously placed on my blog:

I have read Project hero by Briar Prescott. I listened to the audiobook. Read this for my Authors TBR. Have read another book by this author which I really loved, so wanted to read more from him. This is an adult contemporary romance book with LGBTQ+ characters.

I loved this! So much fun to listen to. I laughed so much! I really liked both of the main characters, they were great. A great balance between the two. I liked the romance a lot and the message at the end about falling in love. Only thing I missed was at the end a longer part where they were together, I always like reading that.
