Well this was just wonderful. I loved Law so much. He was everything. He was so good to Andy. Andy was so cute and naive about some things and completely oblivious at times, but that did not deter me loving him so much. Him and Law together were so sweet and just fit so well. I really enjoyed how the angst was very low, and it was was nice how the story progressed. The epilogue was so so so good!! Hands down one of the best epilogues.

Cute, low-angst college romance.

Project Hero had some of my favorite tropes, fun characters and great writing.

I found the absence of homophobic scenes and sexuality struggles pretty refreshing, especially for a college romance with a jock protagonist.
I mean, I also love angsty tear-jerkers, but this was such a peaceful story, no hate, no bad emotions. I feel restored, like a nice warm cuddly hug I didn’t know I needed.

This was a very light-hearted read, and even better than all the words written in it or the how was how this book made me feel - just happy.

Was this an objective five star read?
Probably not, but I’m not an objective person.

I am madly in love with this book. I’m stunned that this is the author’s debut work (at least published) because there’s such a flow and ease to the writing. Andy is perfect. He’s snarky, sarcastic, smart, funny, and just 100% the guy I’d want to be friends with. Law is... sigh... yum. He’s all of those things plus a heaping helping of just plain good man. There aren’t nearly enough decent men in the world.

Get this. Read it. Love it.

Really sweet, great characters, nothing sporty, but the plot was a little too déja vu. It's a romantic comedy kind of plot, a lot will love it. It was so sweet tho.
