Pulp. Western. Crime. Fantasy. Separate but Equal in a Classic edition of Pulp Modern.

This edition feels like a great season of The Twilight Zone, where every story shares elements but has its own unique identity. Sure, there might be one or two stories that don't tickle your fancy but overall you're binge watching the shit out of the season. The expected Pulp Modern staples are there - characters are tough as nails, got a lot of mouth, mean and surely, down on their luck, lived a life where nothing ever went right, living in a dreamland where problems aren't always what they think or seem they should be. It's biting. It's uncompromising. And more often than not two of the four genres are crossing into each other, which ain't a bad thing.

If you're into anthologies, like pulp, crime, and all the little subgenre bits in between you won't be disappointed at the editorial direction Alec Cizak put into this mighty fine collection.
