Reread: so bad

Original Review: I'm going to reread this series! My 12 year old review of this book is definitely 5 stars. I won this book for free from the book fair at school. I started reading it at school AND COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. I think I finished it in a day or two. I was obsessed.

What can I say? I liked this book a lot. It was a nice change from what I have been reading lately. I feel a good dose of teen fiction is necessary once in awhile for everybody no matter what age! :)
Yes, I am in love with Edward Cullen. Yes, I wanted him to turn Bella into a vampire, and yes I knew he wouldn't. Dammit.
I loved the book. I am reading the sequel. It is GREAT bus reading material! :)

This was a reread from at least 10 years ago. We are going to try and go to Forks Washington this year and thought it would be fun to reread before we go. It was a good reread and I found I still loved the cheesy romance

I decided to read the twilight saga on a whim, the movies have always had a special place in my heart and I decided to take a dive into where is all began. Now I will say as a story……it’s kinda silly, questionable, inconsistent, and overall “bad”. Although, this is one my guilty pleasures and my love for twilight has overshadowed the issues. It’s nostalgic, cringy dialogue and iconic characters, made this read overall fun and exciting. That being said I won’t over look the obvious issues, Eddie lowkey being Joe Goldberg, the weird nuclear Cullen family, the misogynistic undertones and the most important one how the quillute tribe was represented and handled and it only gets worse! If I could rate this book 10/10 I would but to be fair and transparent I will rate it 3/5!

It surely was the best of the twilight series, but i found it a bit boring. But i was able to discover some good lyrics out of it.
