Really enjoyed this book, about magical world , especially if someone read a book and that character appeared. Now going to read the second book.
I had to DNF this book. I was over 150 pages in and I was bored. I know there is a good story there but I can't waste any more time on trying to finish it. There are a hundred other books out there that I want to read. By 150 pages I should have some link to the characters that won't allow me to put the book down but I honestly after a while just had no desire to continue and I know I'm not going to like it at all if I force myself to read it.
This started off a bit slow for me. It took a while to get into. There are a few dry parts. But I did finally get into the story. The secrets Mo has held from his daughter all these years come crashing down around their family when some old acquaintances start to show up. And bringing more trouble than either though possible. I love how this brings to light others who love books. I would LOVE to see Eleanor's collection! And the idea of reading things out of books would get me into trouble.
