I don’t know what kind of drug Hastings put into this book but I would like an IV of it please. The love that I have for some of these characters is unreal. Hastings writing is so beautiful, there were multiple quotes I loved so deeply, that if I were one to annotate; the book would be a rainbow of colours. I really can’t make up my mind about this book. I didn’t like it but also couldn’t stop reading it. I think I loved to hate it 😂 the two main characters are not very likeable at all. The relationship is extremely toxic and I was rooting against them getting together. They do not end up together at the end of this book but they do later on in the series. I won’t be continuing with the series so I looked up what happens in the end. I actually did enjoy the plot I just think it was executed poorly and because I disliked the toxicity and characters, there wasn’t enough to keep me engaged
