I don’t know what kind of drug Hastings put into this book but I would like an IV of it please. The love that I have for some of these characters is unreal. Hastings writing is so beautiful, there were multiple quotes I loved so deeply, that if I were one to annotate; the book would be a rainbow of colours. I cannot wait to read the rest of the Parks universe

I really can’t make up my mind about this book. I didn’t like it but also couldn’t stop reading it. I think I loved to hate it 😂 the two main characters are not very likeable at all. The relationship is extremely toxic and I was rooting against them getting together. They do not end up together at the end of this book but they do later on in the series.  I won’t be continuing with the series so I looked up what happens in the end. I actually did enjoy the plot I just think it was executed poorly and because I disliked the toxicity and characters, there wasn’t enough to keep me engaged

We go on this merry-go-round-dizzy, sick, stuck. We want to get off, but the author won’t let us. And maybe we don’t really want to. Maybe we think this might still lead somewhere.

infuriating, addicting, toxic, drama-filled rollercoaster of a book that i ATE UP! this was exactly what i needed right now - just a fun fucking time of a book with a plot and characters that were entertaining, had me giggling + blushing, and also jaw dropped over.

song: his hands - blegh (please give this a listen if you’ve never heard it before)

Can you believe i asked for "found family" trope recs and someone recommended this disgusting series? I feel like I need to purge my demons.

Like seriously, WHAT FOUND FAMILY was I supposed to find here? All I’ve seen is a group of friends who just sleep with each other—and that’s not what I had in mind. It’s like sex is the initiation ritual or the requirement to join the friend group. If you don’t fuck someone, you can’t be part of it
