Da una sensación de apresurada y su final, aunque abierto, es abrupto. Aun así me ha gustado. Quiero más.

I can totally buy the cops being incompetent tbh. Ar least unlike irl they weren’t totally malicious.
Kinda sad this got canned as I would’ve liked to read more and see the main plot thread fully resolved. Loved Charlotte and her friend Claire!

Enjoyable if not quite up to the Bad Machinery or Giant Days standards. Charlotte is an enjoyable character though my favorite of the teen detectives was always Shauna, and I missed the group dynamic of those stories in this one. Claire was a late addition to the team, and I think the book might have worked better if Mildred had been the spin-off supporting role (though it would be harder to believe that Mildred couldn't solve the murder and exonerate Charlotte).
Charlotte Grote is about the head to university to become a real detective. But first she is invited to attend Childhood Detective awards as a nominee for the teen category. She meets many of her idols in the field, but then she is framed for murder. Protesting her innocence, she is invited to join law enforcement as a consultant until the real murderer can be found.
This is a wacky graphic novel with a teen detective solving cases but in the quirky “Giant Days” world. If you like the Giant Days comics and their over-the-top nature, you might enjoy this mystery series. It’s got some good ideas and some of the mysteries are fun, but it’s a bit too over-the-top and frenetic. And sadly the series ended prematurely so we don’t find out who the real killer was.
