Superb edition. The book's a joy to read, except for when it's not. Beware of reading it in coffee shops with a diverse (but almost uniformly kooky) clientele. People may attempt to tell you about their dreams.

Terrible! Would not recommend. Started as an interesting analysis but turned into pages and pages of obsessive sex-dream connections.

DID NOT FINISH: 49%

I tried SO hard to get thru this one and made it about halfway before conceding defeat. I had to accept that my interest just wasn't being held and it was time to move on to another book.

One of sigmunds basic works and weirder ones for whatever reason he was obsessed with dreams. But some of these analysis's felt like big leaps in logic.

The Interpretation of Dreams is the classic text on dream analysis and interpretation. Freud introduced many vital concepts that would later become central to the theory of psychoanalysis. The book also emphasizes the role of the unconscious mind, which is one of the underlying principles of Freudian psychology.
