I love the characters that Sophie creates. Becky is so funny and thinks not like everybody else. she seems to live in a dreamworld and thinks everything's going to work its self out.

I love how she gets into all these situations but somehow it seems to work in her favour most of the time.

becky is a very relatable character, as you can imagine being in your 20s, not living at home anymore with a job you hate and not caring about money and just spending.

this was a re read for me and I still had moments when I laughed to myself.

i know this is a chick book. but i like the movie so i was like okay i'll read the book. so i did. and it was ohkay. i guess but the movie is better i reckon. cause the Rebecca Bloomwood in the movie is much better than one in the book because the one in the book isn't as funny. so that pissed me off. but however alot of stuff was left out of the book (like it always does) but at least it had the main ideas in the movie. i give it one thumb up and that's it. sorry(:

It took me a long time to give this book a try. I saw the movie in theatres, but for some reason never thought to pick up the book. However, I am so glad I did. This was a quick read, but absolutely adorable, perfect for a beach read. Becky, while not being the most sensible character, is nevertheless easy to relate to, and I actually greatly admired her lying abilities! 4/5 stars, just because it seemed that the plot was resolved rather quickly and miraculously. Still an enjoyable read.

I had a hard time feeling sympathetic for Rebecca in this book. She made some really dumb moves and was really mean to people at times... I will however admit that I did finish it and I probably will read the next one. It's one of those mindless reads that you need once in a while.

I was disappointed with this book. I could not seem to get into it, and I could not relate to the main character. Well written, but not my favorite.

At best, this is a light, fun beach read. But .. this is the most irritatingly immature "heroine" I've ever come across.

I actually tried the second book and just could not finish. I don't understand the legions of fans nor the continued series.
