Definitely for the hardcore fans, it gives you some extra insight to Harry's world, which is always a plus in my book.
This was an enjoyable supplement to the Harry Potter books. Surprisingly, I liked this book more than the beasts book, but that could be because I had higher expectations for the beasts book and fairly low ones for Quidditch.

Nice supplemental book adding to the Potterverse mythology, featuring some cleverly-conceived creatures. It is what it is.

So many times I stood with the first release of fantastic beasts and where to find them in my hands but I'm oh so glad I waited for this beautiful illustrated edition to finally delve into this book. I loved reading all the little facts about these beasts, recognizing quite a few of them from the beloved harry potter series and discovering a lot of new ones. All the praise to Olivia Lomenech Gill for bringing these descriptions to life in the most beautiful manner, I love the art style!

Fantastic beasts is a really fun book and this illustrated edition is beautiful
These are some fun reads if you would like to further your knowledge of the Harry Potter realm. Filled with some interesting commentary from one of everyone's favorite characters as well as cool facts that you can bust out at your next Harry Potter movie night. I give them a four out of five stars.
