(Audiolibro) Me encantó completamente. Ali Won es de mis comediantes de stand-up favoritas y tenerla leyendo un libro sobre sus experiencias de la vida fue muy gracioso. Me encanta que cada vez que puede les recuerda a sus hijas que siempre las apoyará no importa qué, una muestra de amor. Me encantó la carta final de su esposo a sus hijas, fue un detalle muy motivador, no esperaba que me gustara tanto.

It comes off the rails a little in the middle - around chapters 6-7, but it made me laugh and cry.

I listened to the audiobook and I 100000000% recommend that format. Listening to Ali read the book in her own sharp, signature voice was E.VER.Y.THING. I laughed out loud the entire time, and appreciated how smoothly she floated between raunchy filthy comedy and heartfelt, insightful musings on feminism, work ethic, motherhood, and race. I’m a huge fan of Ali’s standup ... and since my tickets to her Spring tour are sitting in covid-limbo right now, this is exactly what I needed to make me pee my pants laughing during a tough time like this.

Oh and PS: I dare you not to fall in love with her husband after you listen to his afterword at the end of the book.
