I love the narrative of the book, it's totally different from the first series.
I struggled reading this book but I'm absolutely reading the next ones.

I miss Percy's wry narrative voice a lot (Leo is great, but I was indifferent to Jason and Piper), but overall this is an entertaining successor to Riordan's Percy Jason series. There's an interest deepening of the mythology, the usual cheerful humor, and some mysteries. This isn't super sophisticated stuff, but I sure do want to know what happens next.

I love this series so much, the lost hero is just the start. It gets so much better from here and this is just the weakest one (because they’re all soooo good)

Great first book in a second series.

I just love how this first book picks up shortly after the first series. A different story, but the same Gods and characters from the original series.

Great to know that more conflicts happened.

It's a good book, and the serie is amazing, just this first one is a little bit boring... And the character Jason is boring, but the rest are fine and the other books are much better!

I loved the Percy Jackson series and this book was just as great. I really enjoy Rick Riordan's writing and this book was worth the wait!

I don't own anything orange. The color always makes me cringe for some reason. However, I have decided there is nothing more I want this christmas than a Camp Half Blood ORANGE T shirt. It will totally screw up with the monsters. They will be like why is that dumb mortal wearing an camp half blood t shirt? Are they a demigod? Or are they friends with a demigod? Then the monsters would follow me around only to find that I don't hang out with any heroes. Which would make them mad and attack me anyway. Yeah its a stupid idea. But tempting.

This first book in the Heroes of Olympus introduces a number of demigods: Jason Grace (Yes hes related to Thalia, long story), Piper and Leo. They go on a quest to save Queen Hera and Piper's dad. The Lost Hero still has old favorites like Annabeth, not my favorite by the way but she has a big fan base, Chiron, and Percy Jackson. Even though hes missing in the book.

The book also focuses on gods and goddesses that were overshadowed by the likes of Poseidon, Athena and Hades. You get to learn how the "small" gods like Aphrodite are also important in every way. So yeah, stop reading this review and get a copy asap!!!!!
