An amazing twist on the Superhero genre that is engaging and entertaining. I have read this book half a dozen times and I keep returning to it because of its rich idea and backstory
I think this was the most enjoyable Brandon Sanderson book that I've so far read. A unique take on the superhero genre and interesting characters, even if David is sometimes not the most relatable. I did not particularly appreciate it's glorification of guns and violence, but given the world the characters live in, it made sense. Female characters felt kinda flat - hoped for more, but none of the characters were really that developed. And I 100% completely called called the "big twist" from about 50 pages in.

I love Brandon Sanderson and I loved this book. Great concept, fantastic execution, the end left me wanting more. What more could one ask for?
Really great action/adventure novel with a sci-fi/fantasy twist. Not really sure what category this book actually belongs to. I look forward to Firefight and all of Brandon Sanderson's other books.
