I found the characters' inabilities to communicate clearly with each other incredibly frustrating. I had to finish the book quickly to ensure that they remained together

Went into this book thinking it was going to be another part of Sky, Holder, six and Daniels story. So I was a little confused when it was about two random people.

This is not something I usually read but it caught my attention more than I thought it would. It’s a very heartbreaking story about infertility and the struggles that a lot of people don’t know some women struggle with. And I HAVE NOT CRIED LIKE THAT IN A LONG TIME! The emotion I felt reading this was insane. Colleen you have done it again! Thank you!

And then when I got to the epilogue My emotions hit me even harder and I cried for like an hour after realizing why this book was part of the hopeless ‘series’ definitely a plot twist I wasn’t expecting.

This book was really sad and honest. It depicted a couple going through a difficult time together and how individual, personal problems can stem from the bigger problems. It shows how easily love can seem to disappear in a relationship when there is no communication or partnership. This book definitely made me cry about 2-3 times. I also love the way it is written, switching from past to present; the duality really adds to the clarity and emotional heart-wrench that this book aims towards.
