This story was almost exactly what I wanted it to be. Felt a bit slow at times but otherwise I enjoyed (?) the dark and provocative themes.

And immersive and chilling play of George Orwell’s 1984. 

Truly an incredible cast…
Andrew Garfield brings true paranoia to our ears. 
Cynthia Erivo brings humanity to Julia. 
Andrew Scott is a sinter O’Brien.
Tom Hardy is a looming presence as Big Brother. 

Highly recommend if you have an audible subscription. Production quality is out of control.

Thrilling, tense, immersive!

This audiobook version of “1984” honestly feels like I was sitting through a theatre performance. Stellar cast, with Andrew Garfield flexing his diversed talent through his acting, using mainly his vocals to amplify his actions and emotions, creating such an intense performance. The music was amazing!

Would highly recommend this version for sure!
