Read it in Spanish. The best books of the series were the first ones; at this point, the series got really repetitive, and over the top.

It's a shame Anne hasn't written more books with women's pov. There were some chapters in the main series but I guess the full extent of how good it is in her voice avoided me until now. It's made even better by the fact some parts were recounted by Marius before, and Pandora's retelling reveals what he most likely intended to bury or wasn't paying attention to, so it's really fun to compare. Their dialogs are very curious as well.

The first half of the book is the best though, I laughed my ass off when she started to declamate The Amores.

Love Anne rice and her writing style. Pandora isn’t my most favorite character so far lol maybe I’m biased because of Marius. I understand her reasoning. Doesn’t mean i always agree with what her choices were.

This book is written from the perspective of David Talbot, who has set out to chronicle the lives of some of the other Vampires who had not previously had a strong feature. I really liked this book and enjoyed learning about Pandora and her history. This is an essential book for those who love the Vampire Chronicles series.

I felt like it was a bit incomplete considering the other tales of the vampires.
