This book was good not as good in my opinion as the first one but still good. This author just continues the story from the last one without a “proper” ending and I noticed that with the last book too. I don’t mind it but I wish it would not be like that. I wish we knew a bit more about some of the secondary characters because that would be fun and interesting as well. Not a bad read give it a go it’s quick and easy to read. You also find out more of the authors opinions. Read it if you like fantasy.

Just as fun and light as the first one. I've been so impressed by how well Shannon Hale has woven all kinds of fairy tales, nursery rhymes and folklore into these books, not just the same old Disney stuff everyone knows. Young readers will gobble this sequel right up!
