Up until the last couple of pages IT WAS FREAKING PERFECT. IM SO OBSESSED.
It starts as a typical cliche fanfiction but its cute and enjoyable. Agarophobia and paranoia adding a special extra layer to it all. I enjoyed the therapy sessions, how hopeless it all feels when just one thing goes wrong. To be honest this book helped me sort out my own issues... well I see them more clearly at least. So we have a cutesy lovestory and addressing different disabilities but thats not all! Its a thriller full of suspense. I practically swallowed the end of the book. And then BOOM. The past couple of pages RUINED EVERYTHING. It was all again saved finding out that theres a book two (with reviews full of unhidden spoilers thankuverymuch) so Im calmed down. But. Still. I think it wouldve been better as a standalone (even though I havent read the second book yet) and without the final twist. It seems out of charavter and many things don't make sense.
Im glad when a random book from "Sale" box ends up being so good.
Cute, fun, enlightening, thrilling and maddening.

3.5/5
I am conflicted on how I want to rate this book. Going into, I didn't have my hopes too high, but then as I was reading it I loved it. It was the perfect book for getting me out of my reading slump, but then I read the last few pages and yeah, no. I know there are people who are going to really like that ending (and if the ending did not end that way, I feel like the book might have been missing something), which is why I would recommend the book to other people, but me personally, I am a little bitter about it and felt like it was more thrown in to be a plot twist. Basically, 4.75/5 for the rest of the book, but me being bitter about the last few pages and that brings it down to a 3.5/5.

This book was good… I like the feel of crime and mystery to it. It was a very good book that made me want to read on
Good fast paced read....
This was an entertaining fast paced read. Though I really hate the cliff hanger ending...
I'm definitely going to be reading the next one to see if my suspicions are correct.

"Follow Me Back" is an immensely suspenseful YA thriller that exceeded all my expectations.
Tessa is agoraphobic and hasn't left her house in months. Her only link to the outside world is twitter and her favourite pastime is obsessing over Eric Thorn.
Eric Thorn is a massively successful singer-songwriter, but hates being in the public eye and is afraid of his fans.
It just so happens that Tessa and Eric strike up a conversation via Twitter. But isn't that just asking for disaster?
I just finished this book and can't get over how good it is. It starts out fairly trivial, but steadily builds its suspense, which makes it virtually impossible to put it down. The plot is amazing and the characters elaborate, likeable and relatable. I like that the story isn't just told by the two main characters, but also via tweets and police reports, which makes it all the more interesting and thrilling. "Follow Me Back" is furthermore packed with unforseeable twists and turns and it's all but impossible to guess the outcome. What I will say, though, is that the ending is pretty mean - that cliffhanger is pure torture. Word of advice: If you decide to pick up this novel, also get the sequel "Tell Me No Lies" - you will definitely want to keep reading right away.
I recommend this captivating debut to teens and adults alike.
