Wow. This book was wild. Mindy was right it did have kill the boy band vibes, but not as funny and way more of a thriller than KTBB. The twists and turns this book took were unexpected and I found myself being paranoid of everyone especially after that ending!! The end has me very confused and I can't wait to pick up the second book because I have no idea where this is gonna go. Unfortunately I have to wait until 2018 (!!) considering this book hasn't even been published yet. Definitely a book to look out for if you're into thrillers with lots of twists and cute popstars. #ericthornobsessed

3.5 ⭐️. I enjoyed the story! It kept me interested throughout the whole book. That cliffhanger??? Leaves you very confused and eager to pick up next book. It felt very wattpad-y which I know it is a wattpad book but after not reading one for a while I forgot what they were like and it’s not my favourite anymore. I would also say that this book is more of a mystery with the element of a romance. Still really enjoyed this book!

Okay, so I knew this was part of a series (though I only realised it was a duology after I'd finished this one), but for some reason I still wasn't expecting the cliffhanger type ending - I'm just hoping that everything is resolved in a happy way in the next book, which yes, I will definitely need to read.

I liked this read, however I did feel that Eric was a bit too goody-two-shoes for a young pop star (I know he's not a rock star but still, think of Bieber!). Even some of his language seemed a bit too flowery for a teenager, but maybe I'm just used to people like me who swear like troopers even when they're not annoyed at anything. :P

I kind of love stories that involve social media interactions, which is obviously a 21st century phenomenon. So this was up my alley for that reason. And despite the "tameness" of it sometimes, I still wanted to read on and find out what happened, and I was still rooting for Tessa and Eric.

Also, it makes sense there would be another book, because we haven't had

. But I suppose time will tell.

I'm not sure when I'll get around to reading the next book, as I don't even think the paperback version is out yet. So I'll report back on this series hen I have read that one! ;)

I was overly excited to get my hands on this book. The synopsis drew me right in. I was expecting a thrilling story full of twists and turns. I thought for sure that this would be one of my favorites of the year...

The blurb does a wonderful job giving you an idea of what the story is about... but that is about it. I honestly had to force myself to finish this book. The delivery and development of this story were lacking.

The characters all seemed like twelve year olds. Nothing they did or said felt true to who they were supposed to be. They were all weak and unlikable.

The format of how this story is told is unique and should have worked for it. I won't lie, I was very disappointed in this story by the time I finished it. I had expected to have my draw dropped at least once, my heart to race at some point... Sadly that just never happened.

Not a fan (ha).

It's very Wattpad which is not something I like. I'm not the target audience, and I probably shouldn't have borrowed this book.

Another book I didn't even come close to finishing.

I'm definitely not the target demographic for this book and without being any type of celebrity fangirl myself or extreme Twitter user, I worried at first if I would even enjoy this book. I must say, though, that it had me hooked! It's a cute book, with some tense moments of action, and I found I cared for the characters and what was going to happen to them and between them. There is one piece to the story that was never resolved and then the ending is a cliffhanger, though I questioned if I was missing something obvious since it seemed to happen out of nowhere, but I suspect that the two are related. It appears there will be a second book and if so, I'm looking forward to reading it!
