Unique concept and great writing style. I think it could’ve easily been fleshed out to be a full length novel to allow for more depth in both world building and character development.

sarah gailey is the only author that almost convinces me i need to read more western novels

(the only reason this is not a five-star is because i loved the idea behind this world and the librarians, and i wanted more worldbuilding, although for a novella this does a pretty decent job)
