I tried to like this book, I really did. The setting and diversity were right up my alley but I just could not get hooked. It was really difficult to read for me. It was fast paced then slow, just overall hard to read

Book Club book. A good story, but feels incomplete. It's too short to go too much into depth, yet teases background information without building it out or clarifying. It feels like it would be a wonderful start to a series, but it unfortunately is not! Otherwise cute though.

i liked the idea behind this novella, queer renegade librarians sounds completely up my alley, but i thought that the execution wasn’t my favourite. like i lowkey felt a bit bored most of the time. although the romance was kinda cute.
