Mika is a witch. She’s been alone her whole life. When she randomly gets a message from someone looking to hire a witch as a tutor, she has no idea what lies in store for her.

This book was like a warm hug on chilly fall day. I absolutely loved everything about it.

 This was a quick and easy read. I totally understand why it's categorized as a cozy read because it felt like I was reading an episode of witchy Gilmore Girls since this novel really emphasized found families and working through childhood trauma. I recommend the audiobook; it definitely enhanced the reading experience and made me like to book even more. The narrator, Sarah MacLaren, brought all of Mandanna's characters to life.

I look forward to reading more of Mandanna's books in the future.

É um livro muito amoroso mas perdeu-se um bocado a meio, fala-se pouco no principal que dá título ao livro e muito num romance que também se perde a meio.

As meninas foram postas de lado quando o romance se inicia e a sua evolução passou de grande a quase nula. A sua aprendizagem e tutoria foi perdida, e o plot não foi desenvolvido ao seu grande potencial.
